Quality Control Check Points

  • All alfalfa is visually inspected in the field for leaf and stem quality, as well as weeds and foreign material
  • Prior to purchasing any alfalfa, samples are taken and sent to a Certified Laboratory to check Protein, RFV, ADF, NDF and Moisture
  • Upon arrival at our facility it is once again checked for weeds, foreign material, color and moisture content
  • All sides of the bale are inspected as they are fed into the press and/or pellet mill
  • All processed bales and pellets are once again inspected prior to shipping
